‘Tis the season to give back!

Rothwell MMA member, Drake Waswrick, was 5 when he was diagnosed with ALL, a type of leukemia.  He spent a lot of time over the holidays (and the next few years) in the hospital.  There were many days that the doctors and nurses would let the kids pick a toy out of a special closet.  Volunteers would also bring something special for each child.

As Drake got healther, the Waswrick family decided they wanted to help too.  So they began collecting toys to donate to the hospital.  Unless you have seen it, it is hard to explain the light in the eyes of a sick child who has received a gift.  It brighten’s a hard time in their life.

Help Drake collect toys for the boys and girls at the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin for the 7th year in a row. We are collecting new, unwrapped toys that will be distributed to children in the hospital during the holiday season. The Waswrick family will be collecting our donation Thursday December 13th.

Donation Suggestions: rattles, board books, crayons & coloring books, markers, paints and paper, stamps, board games, card games, puzzles, action figures, dolls, body lotion and sprays, gift cards for teens such as iTunes and Starbucks, etc.  (Children’s cannot accept used or handmade items.)

Thank you for your help!
