Anthony Stewart is a courageous and strong young man full of life and an aspiring career as a diesel mechanic. Anthony is a 2009 graduate of Tremper High School and 2011 graduate of Ohio Technical College. One of his life-long dreams was to one day own his own business.
Anthony’s friends describe him as fun loving, compassionate, and all around good guy. Some would say when he set his mind on getting something, he would go get it. Whether it be working overtime, saving, or trying to sell off his 4-wheeler, he would find a way to get what he wants.
One June 7, 2014, Anthony was struck by a driver under the influence of alcohol/drugs with no insurance. He was riding his motorcycle resulting in severe and extensive bodily injury, especially to the right side of his body. Flight for life was called and he was flown to a Milwaukee area hospital.
Since his accident, Anthony has undergone several surgeries to his right side, with an unknown amount more possibly yet to come. Due to the injuries to his hip and leg, he still waits for the clearance from doctors to begin rehabilitation to begin walking. The nerve regeneration to the right arm will take several months and therefore the outcome is still not known of the type of ability that will return.
Tony has the most amazing support group of friends who I have nicknamed “TEAM TONY”. They are helping with whatever needs to be done to get Tony back up and running. Tony has a long road ahead of him, but he is young and strong. We pray he heals fast. Any donations will be used for his hospital bills, therapy, and continued care to get him well.
